Fashion: Casting Forms

This week wth group spent most lunchtimes searching for a selection of models who fit our shoot criteria; we have constructed forms asking for details including name, age, contact details & feature description, height & basic measurements to help with matching our figures as well as fashion decisions (for privacy reasons, contact & personal details have been blanked out).

For the men we were looking for mainly brunettes between the ages of 20 & 25 with a very anglo-saxon look to highlight a European character against an Asian character. We have also been considering height to compliment our female character which the group believes cannot be too tall as Asian females are often quite short and therefore would be dwarfed by a tall male model.

For our female casting the search was a lot more specific, looking for Asian girls again between the ages of 20 & 25 with long dark hair. We did consider looking for females that had an average height however we found this difficult & not true to a stereotypical Eastern character portrayal.

Tomorrow we will be having a group meeting where we will discuss & choose our final castings and notify the models to double check that they are free on the shoot dates & then we will begin to start making fashion choices in consideration of their physique & colouring.
